This role will answer to the Manufacturing Manager to maintain the gold standard of infused products, and follow operating procedures set forth by the Company. The Edibles Cook (Baker) will be responsible for the creation of all baked and confectionery products, in addition to the quality, consistency, and potency of all edibles produced. Oversee daily edibles production, create and maintain a workplace environment that ensures safety, performance, and product quality. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of product and supplies. Assure ServSafe standards and state cannabis law and regulations are met in all aspects of production.

 

CORE JOB DUTIES


Creation of all baked and confectionery products and the necessary SOPs for the recipes.

Handling distillate and other cannabis products with the utmost care and attention to regulatory compliance.

Monitor inventory, order supplies as needed, and maintain all required logs and records.

Fully comply with State medical and adult-use marijuana regulations

Complies to ServSafe standards.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.

Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen.

Assist with the development of production plans and maintain inventory par levels as determined by sales demand.

Recommend and implement efficiency improvements.

Work with manufacturing manager to track and maintain accurate records of all inventory in the Biotrack software system as well as send products to verified marijuana testing facilities

Understanding of cannabis extraction processes

Strictly follow department SOP’s, Batch Records, Log’s, and associated Forms/Documents.

Regular communication & collaboration with management team members and executives

Ability to take initiative and enthusiastically undertake the challenges that may come up in the operation of the Production Facility.

Ability to work with others, with a sense of urgency, in a cohesive and positive environment


 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS


Prior industry experience in marijuana edibles a plus.

Experience with inventory for raw, intermediate, and finished goods.

Basic understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the kitchen.

Detailed oriented mind set with a focus on efficiency, quality and sanitation.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand on feet for long hours.

Ability to be trained on various activities, machines, and systems.

Ability to accurately follow recipes and measurements.
