Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Accounting, the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting will be primarily responsible for general ledger accounting for complex technical transactions, financial reporting analysis, and SOX controls. Ideal candidate will have a successful track record of managing cross-functional task and projects in a fast-paced environment. Must be extremely hands-on self-starter who is able to work independently.
Collaborate with Technical Accounting team to review and process complex technical accounting transactions.
Assist in facilitating seamless integration and onboarding of acquired businesses and their accounting functions
Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOX controls, both GAAP and IFRS accounting
Work closely with local controllers for financial statement analysis and standardization of processes.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies for company-wide standardization
Prepare and Review journal entries and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
Analyze financial balance sand schedules and provide meaningful insight for management
Assist with external and internal audit requests, including quarterly reviews and annual audits
Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in a large public company, a division of a large public company and/or public accounting firms.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum 7 years’ experience in accounting/finance
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Results oriented, driven, hands-on leader
Comfort in high growth, rapidly changing business environments
Strong and up-to-date technical accounting knowledge
