JOB SUMMARY
Continuum, a Cresco Labs company, is seeking a motivated and driven Regional Sales Manager – Northern California to join our team and cover a key territory. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for selling products and services, maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales and achievement of sales targets, and individual sales KPIs. This individual will be representing a wide array of brands with a very robust, and growing product line.
CORE JOB DUTIES
Develop and execute sales plans and strategies
Serves as a role-model and resource for sales team concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations
Responds to sales team about all questions, concerns, or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts
Coordinates with upper management team to ensure accurate information is communicated to sales team
Responsible for delegating tasks to sales team
Identify potential customers, initiate and manage prospects through the sales pipeline and close opportunities
Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
Utilize selling techniques and market strategies to expand and build upon client base
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence, etc.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Continuously improve through feedback
Some weekend work may be required to support industry trade shows and events
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in a position with managerial responsibilities
Proven work experience as an account executive or sales representative with ability to demonstrate previous “wins”
Experience in alcohol or pharmaceutical sales is preferred, cannabis experience strongly preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
Knowledge of MS Office in a Windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software
Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record and own transportation
Ability to travel throughout assigned territory
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and persuasive skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency
Must possess the ability and desire to achieve/grow personal and team goals.
