JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a Retail Compliance Manager to join our Compliance team. The Retail Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring all company dispensaries remain compliant under state laws and will work closely with the Department of Professional Regulation, in addition to Local and State law enforcement agencies. A successful candidate has the ability apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various departments and has previous experience monitoring, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
CORE JOB DUTIES
Compliance:
Prepare and conduct inspections with the Department of Professional Regulation and State Police officials when necessary
Ensure accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, patient/customer records, sales, deliveries and returns are being done in accordance with the State regulations as well as standards set by Company
Monitor BioTrack for product returns; communicate any issues to appropriate department and work with the dispensary teams to provide BioTrack information to assist dispensaries when issues arise
Collect, audit, and file required paperwork from all department to ensure compliance
Prepare compliance status report for Regional Compliance Director
Confirm that all new packaging and labeling is compliant prior to distribution
Inventory:
Prepare weekly inventory inspection reports for all facilities
Monitor inventory losses and assist in developing processes and procedures to reduce loss in all departments
Ensure full inventory is completed at all facilities; investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies
Review all inventory reports and files
Participate in weekly manager meetings
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Minimum of 3 years of compliance experience, ideally in the regulated cannabis industry or another regulated industry, such as alcohol, tobacco, medical, or manufacturing, preferred
Must have the ability to develop and foster strong working relationships throughout all levels of the organization
Demonstrated problem-solving skills; the ability to either predict and / or identify and drive problem/issue to resolution in partnership with stakeholders
Excellent people and communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to successfully explain complex matters and provide persuasive support for positions with internal stakeholders, outside partners, and to communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to successfully manage a high-volume workload with tight deadlines
Detail-oriented and ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
Capable of handling confidential information discreetly and professionally
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge or ability to develop working knowledge of all state and local regulations
Ability to travel within the state, as required
Must have reliable transportation
