Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in cleaning and maintaining the production areas and equipment – not limited to platforms, sinks, floors, flasks, pipets, funnels, etc.
Understand the differences in cleaning standards for Iso8 labs versus Non-Iso8 areas and follow all SOPs to maintain sterility when cleaning in different departments so as not to cross contaminate.
Remove trash as needed and sweep and mop floors to maintain the sanitary conditions in the production areas as well as administrative offices.
Must keep the restrooms, gowning rooms, showers, break rooms, and common-areas clean and sterile, at all times. Also replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels and toilet paper, etc.
Floors in the Production Area should be kept swept and the scrubbing machine or mop should be used daily.
The trash collection areas must be kept clean at all times, including sweeping and mopping whenever necessary.
Must be reliable and have experience working safely with cleaning chemicals.
Must follow chemical manufacturer instructions and dilution ratios.
Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision.
Must interact with multiple departments and schedule tasks accordingly.
Must have excellent time management skills and work ethic (be a “self-starter”) to get daily job tasks done on time each day.
Ability to maintain facility scrubs, towels, and general laundry service.
Ability to maintain inventory levels of supplies needed.
Perform other cleaning or housekeeping duties as assigned.
Follow all Safety Rules as required to include using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, masks, etc.
Must attend in-service training and follow standard operating procedures.
Reports any items of concern to supervisor.
Job duties are not limited to the fore mentioned descriptions, candidate must follow requests and directives requested by management.
Sanitizing projects will be completed timely without jeopardizing daily cleaning responsibilities.
