Description:

Curaleaf is looking for a new addition to its Mergers & Acquisitions team. The Mergers & Acquisitions Senior Analyst will be expected to get up to speed quickly and become a critical member of Curaleaf’s business development practice. They will work across all stages of the Merger & Acquisition process, including market analysis, deal origination, financial modeling, due diligence, deal structuring and negotiation, and preparation of C-Suite presentation materials. Responsibilities:


Provide initial review and screening of prospective acquisition opportunities for Curaleaf, as well as track Curaleaf’s acquisition pipeline

Extensive financial modeling, including sensitivity analysis to support potential investment opportunities

Assist in preparation and presentation of deal recommendations to Curaleaf’s top Executives

Provide ongoing monitoring of acquired assets within the Company’s portfolio, including post-acquisition integration and review of quarterly operating results

Liaise with Curaleaf’s Strategy Team on organic business development initiatives, such as joint ventures, partnerships, and new product launches


Qualifications:


Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, management consulting, corporate development, or some combination thereof

Transaction experience is a must. Candidate should possess the ability to oversee and manage the various workstreams of a deal from start to finish

Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to define issues, collect and analyze pertinent data, draw valid conclusions, and propose sound recommendations

Best-in-class financial modeling capabilities / Professional Excel and PowerPoint experience

Strong business acumen, big picture view, and attention to detail are critical

Excellent written and verbal communication

Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but is not required
