The Propagation Technician is responsible for efficient and timely completion of individual and team-orientated tasks as assigned by the Propagation Supervisor. Propagation Tech’s perform routine propagation, fertigation, plant maintenance, and cleaning of propagation rooms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing all day-today cultivation tasks to the standards set by management (cloning, pruning, transplanting, watering, cleaning, spraying, etc.).
Monitor environmental conditions including, temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, VPD, W/M2
Maintain and ensure proper cultivation stock supply
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Able to work variable shifts to meet business requirements
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and federal and state laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Show skills in analyzing potential problems with plant health
Work with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Work with Biotrack THC and other inventory management software systems
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize
Display accountability, proactive behavior, and strong attention to detail.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations.
Internal candidates must be in their current role 6 months or more for consideration.
Ability to focus on a physical task for a long period of time without losing edge
Manual dexterity; enough to reach/handle items, work with fingers repeatedly
Allergen warnings – potential exposure to dust, pollen., and plant pathogens.
Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol.
Daily use of provided Personal Protective Equipment.
Must be able to pass a respirator fit test.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
