Job Summary


This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of operations involved in the manufacture, and infusion of edible marijuana and extraction products.  This person will create and implement operating procedures and compliance measures, ensuring safety, quality, and production requirements are met.

Responsible for all aspects of kitchen and vape operations to include partnering with clients and internal departments to achieve productivity, pricing, quality and safety goals.

Develop and Implement effective operating procedures for extraction, edibles, and vapor pens.

Develop procedures and controls to ensure quality and efficiency.

Provide input to and maintain inventory and other tracking systems.

Review product inventories, schedules and quality paperwork.

Manage daily production and compliance to schedule.

Maintain raw materials, in-process and finished inventory records of materials in kitchen/extraction area.

Monitor outbound finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety and freshness requirements.

Supervise activities of employees engaged in extraction, edibles and vapor pens.

Maintain security of medicine and equipment and ensure safe working conditions.

Prepare and monitor departmental budgets to ensure operations are within budget.

Co-ordinate with Warehouse Manager for orders, inventory and shipping schedules to maintain a balance of production and inventory levels to ensure product freshness and shelf-life.

Coordinate and monitor all incoming sugar leaf and plant materials.

Monitor production to meet client orders.

Supervise kitchen/extraction personnel, determine daily work assignments, and identify and coordinate training activities; recommend transfers, promotions, wage increases, and terminations; recommend overtime as needed to meet customer demands.

Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3-5 years production/management experience. Supervisory experience preferred.


Preferred Qualifications


Ability to work effectively and in a cohesive team atmosphere with all areas.

Must be able to work in a safety aware environment.


Supervisory Responsibility

Oversees multiple shifts for the kitchen team.  

Working Conditions

This is a full-time exempt position. Hours are subject to change; the employee may be asked to work weekends as needed.

The employee will be expected to work inside in a controlled warehouse/greenhouse and growing atmosphere and must have suitable clothing.

Physical Requirements

Able to bend, pull, push, stoop and stand for long periods of time.

Able to lift 70 pounds and to walk and move freely and use material handling equipment. Occasional climbing on rolling safety ladder is required.

May be some exposure to heat or cold due to seasonal changes. Safety shoes are required. Safety goggles and gloves may also be required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

Able to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.


Travel Requirements

Minimal travel is expected with this position.
