Jane Technologies: Director of Advertising Sales

Jane Technologies, Inc. is looking for a passionate, personable, creative, and entrepreneurial Director of Advertising Sales to help grow and shape our burgeoning digital merchandising business. This is a revolutionary new digital marketing solution that allows brands to programmatically advertise  their products to relevant shoppers at the top of dispensary menus, only when their products are in stock. This program is still in its early stages, so this new hire will play a vital role in crafting what this business unit will look like. 

As we continue our fast growth, we are looking for an analytical thinker who will be inspired to develop and execute sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs for our emerging advertising business. The ideal candidate will have recent experience managing a team, developing go to market strategies for digital advertising products, as well as developing their own book of business. Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers

Own, develop, and refine the process to successfully close negotiations for marketing and advertising agreements with Jane Technologies’ brand partners

Support direct reports by participating in client and prospect meetings

Conduct weekly pipeline review and forecast meetings with team members

Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions

Maintain accurate sales data and documentation by using tools including Salesforce

Partner with Internal teams such as: account management, analytics, product and engineering to shape the future of our product monetization strategy

Keep up-to-date with the latest business, industry and product trends

Create and implement sales programs and tools that help to increase performance of the team


Minimum qualifications:


3+ years of management experience

3+ years of hands-on experience with, CPM, CPC, Programmatic, and Display advertising, including post-launch reporting and analysis of campaigns

7+ years of digital ad sales experience

Experience closing sales and generating revenue

Experience presenting to potential and current clients (presentation building)

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication

Strong track record of high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management to deliver results
