Curaleaf’s Formulation Technician will perform all the tasks necessary to produce various items to our high standards. The Formulation Technician will help oversee and maintain quality control measures to ensure high-quality products and carry out day-to-day tasks, including prepping, documentation and packaging. The Formulation Technician must help monitor and maintain the production facility in accordance with safety standards, FDA, government, and State regulations.
Formulation Technician will report to the Formulation Supervisor.
Formulation Technician will help in creating and reviewing production schedule; study and clarify specifications; calculating requirements; assemble and accurately weigh materials and supplies
QA/QC duties that require analytical testing for quality and consistency, data review
Operate highly sophisticated equipment; process concentrates
Follow all SOP’s by Curaleaf/Select. Enter data into NAV, METRC, and EBR systems daily
Work with Operations Managers to maintain proper inventory levels
Clean and maintain equipment and laboratory facility following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures; comply with legal regulations; monitor environment
Operate, maintain, and make adjustments and repairs to laboratory equipment such as liquid chromatography systems, pumps, microscopes, balances, centrifuges, and other laboratory equipment
Maintain inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment
Maintain and stock supplies and equipment, dispose of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory, storerooms, and working areas immaculate
Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware
Help create SOPs, training records, and related documentation
Work with packaging team to help meet deadlines when necessary
Maintain material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products
Ensure processing operation is fully compliant with NV CCB State Regulations and Federal and State Law
Assure that operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements
Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment used in the laboratory and documents production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
Must be proficient in METRC, NAV, and APEX and Curaleaf’s EBR system
ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certificate
Southern Nevada Health District Food Safety Manager Card
MS Dynamics ERP systems knowledge or similar
3-5 yrs. experience production operations
Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
Able to formulate/process samples by collection, preparing for analysis, and quantifying results
Familiar use of a wide range of pipettes and knowing their volume capabilities
Health and safety practices and precautions applicable to a manufacturing environment
Proper and safe handling and disposal of chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes
Capabilities with computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratoriesrecord-keeping procedures
Must be able to perform repetitive techniques accurately and consistently
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, along with frequent bending
Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds with assistance
Valid state driver’s license
