The Delivery Driver will play a key part in fulfilling product orders by delivering Curaleaf products to our various dispensary partners across the state of Illinois. When not out doing deliveries, this position will support the inventory, fulfillment, and packaging teams by helping to prepare products and orders for eventual delivery. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes

Follow routes and time schedule

Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle

Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints when delivery. Report complaints to the Dispensary Director/Manager

Precision with complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) - especially SOP's created for COVID-19

Uses good judgment and discretion; maintains company confidentiality

Comply with meal and rest break requirements

Demonstrate core values

Complete organized payment pickups and maintain detailed cash recording

Complete logs and reports

Adhere to and promote a culture of compliance as it pertains to state and company regulations.

Respect rules, guidelines and company standards at all times

Provides prompt, secure, and professional delivery services

Exhibits polite driving etiquette

Ability to efficiently plan routes

Performs basic vehicle checks and fluid levels

Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect

Ability to fulfill Packaging Department responsibilities when not out on deliveries


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


Must be 21 years old and able to pass an MVR check. Must have clean driving record.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training

Highly organized with on-time performance

Professional, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, consistent, detail-oriented

1+ years of customer service experience; security experience a plus

Valid Driver’s License with excellent driving record

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations

Experience with Biotrack a plus

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 or more pounds and regularly move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is normal.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is normal. The employee is frequently exposed to an environment of natural chemical fumes, herbal aromas, airborne particles, exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Employee will have moderate exposure to conditions such as dust and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or the skin, depending on department job assignments. Personal Protective Equipment is provided for employees to utilize and should be worn.
