The IT Executive Support Specialist serves as the primary end user support for the executive management team and their assistants and for the New York Office. This role acts as the primary point of contact for IT with the VIPs and provide support at the Retail Stores. The Executive Support Technician collaborates and liaises with relevant IT, Facilities, Retail, Security, PR and Corporate Communications personnel to support executive end user technology needs such as personal computing needs, on-site technical issues, support of virtual and onsite meetings and conferences, etc.

Qualified candidates will have prior experience providing deskside, technical support and virtual and on-site town hall and meeting support for executives and VIPs in a Corporate Environment. Support of Retail Dispensaries and their personnel including retail systems and networking as time permits. Excellent customer service, follow up, and communication skills are a must. The IT Executive Support Technician will oversee technical projects in alignment with organizational goals. Managing the effective delivery of networks, development, and disaster recovery systems and processes. This person will be hands-on with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities


Serve as the first point of contact for all executives and provide support for all end user computing service requests

Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions

Communicate clearly with users either over the phone or in person.

Document issues and resolutions properly for record-keeping.

Consistently follow up with users to ensure proper function after issue resolution

Perform basic functions in Office 365 such as password resets, account updates, and changes, license assignments following company protocol, etc.

Image and configure and support workstations, mobile phones, tablets, printers, etc.

Diagnose and resolve intermediate to advanced networking issues such as WAN, LAN, Wifi, DHCP, subnetting, and port forwarding; to name a few.

Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair basic issues with VOIP phone system which requires some knowledge of TCP/IP networking

Assist with support for key corporate systems such as O365, Microsoft Dynamics D365, Expensify, etc. and provide basic support for users.

Support retail locations as time permits which includes network systems, retail systems, printers, etc.

Other technical tasks may appear during the day.

Willing to travel to provide support onsite when needed.


Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience and certifications

At least 3 years of field technician or equivalent experience

Experience providing support to an executive team preferred

Must have strong knowledge of web conferencing tools, for individual usage, webinars and video townhalls

Must be willing to travel with company reimbursement for expenses

Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking/configuration, DHCP, DNS, etc.

Working knowledge of Windows 10 management and configuration

VOIP experience is not required but welcome

Knowledge of Office 365 Administration a must.

Willingness to take initiative with a can-do attitude and ability to react professionally in stressful situations

Must be 21 years of age

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is normal. Team members may have exposure to conditions such as dust and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or the skin, depending on department job assignments. Personal Protective Equipment is provided for Team Members to utilize.
