DESCRIPTION

Cresco Labs is seeking a Social Media Specialist (SMS) to join our corporate Marketing team in Chicago, IL. We are looking for a SMS who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The SMS will be responsible for translating business and brand objectives into cohesive social media strategies.  The successful candidate will also be required to collect, review, and analyze social media data to develop more effective campaigns.

CORE JOB DUTIES


Create and maintain a monthly social media content calendar that aligns with overall marketing initiatives and business goals

Create high-quality visual content for social feeds when appropriate, such as stories or photos at events

Collaborate with the internal creative team and/or external partners to develop engaging, original rich media content

Moderate and engage with all current and potential customers on owned social channels

Moderate and engage user generated content with current and potential customers across all owned social media platforms

Manage all incoming customer service comments and questions across all owned social media platforms, escalating to Customer Service team when applicable

Assist the Senior Manager in analyzing the long-term needs of the company's social media strategy through quarterly reports to management that outline any necessary changes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives, strategize and execute creative social media campaigns that align with each department’s goals or needs (I.e. Brand, SEED, Cultivation, etc.)

Develop influencer marketing programs that support Brand goals, working with external partner agencies to ensure seamless execution

Generate monthly reports and report performance of all social media & digital marketing campaigns

Conduct on-going social media market research and channel development

Be owner and steward of your respective brands by collating information (Brand books, sell sheets, style guides, etc.) and sharing when appropriate to partner agencies or other internal/external content creators (writers, designers, videographers, etc.)

Stay current with social media trends and best practices

Educate employees about social media guidelines and best practices through newsletters, trainings, and educational sessions


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS


Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

3-5 years' experience in social media management

Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)

Experience with photography, videography, and other visual content creation is a plus, but not required

Exceptional multi-tasking skills

Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way

Strong problem-solving skills

Genuine interest in and passion for the cannabis industry is required

Adaptive to change, tight deadlines, and can work with a sense of urgency


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS


Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
