Supply Chain Manager

 Job Duties and Responsibilities

Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists

Manage the wholesale pipeline including product supply and compliance requirements.

Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery

Implement new or improved processes

Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products

Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service

Manage and supervisor wholesale team to include inventory staff

Provide direction and input to your team daily

Develop strategies for new expansion opportunities

Responsible for reaching sales targets and presenting new business development strategies

Responsible for budget, forecast and follow-ups with partners

Responsible for customer negotiation agreements

Create and maintain good relationships with partners

Track new items to ensure items are set up consistently in all systems

Limit risk to company by managing inventory levels, ensuring compliance throughout supply chain, and creating controls

Collaborate with:

All departments to introduce new processes to help improve inventory accuracy.

Operations team to introduce and refine processes to compile important data to help better manage our inventory and risk.

Finance to reconcile accounts, research and provide necessary info (internal and external invoices), create controls/processes.

Production Team to help forecast upcoming flower needs and purchases, convey compliant processes.

Vendors to implement new processes

Develop reporting to provide the company with directional information regarding inventory, sales, and profitability

Track and pursue KPIs: timely internal procurement requests, warehouse & store in-stocks, weeks of supply, new store fulfillment goals, and timely PO closure

Other duties as required/needed to meet goals of company


Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-5 years of experience in operations or a similar role

Expert user in Excel and Microsoft Package (Word, PowerPoint, PivotTables, etc.)

You will regard safety as a core value; serve as role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures

You will need to have strong service and quality focus; address issues effectively when problems arise

You will need be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests

Must be able to work well with other departmental managers and supervisors

You will be required show proficiency with computer applications

Language Skills

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must display professional telephone etiquette and be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Ability to effectively present information in one on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. Employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 or more pounds and regularly move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is normal.Work Environment
