Data Analyst, Analytics (Data Governance)

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, computer science, information management, statistics or equivalent work experience• 5 plus years of experience driving data quality, data management and data governance initiatives (Required)• 3-5 years of experience performing enterprise data transformation (Preferred)• 1-3 years of experience working with Master Data Management tools (Preferred)• 1-3 years of experience working with Tableau, SQL (Preferred)• Experience in retail, e-commerce and or manufacturing company is a plus

What will I be doing?

• As Sr. Data Quality Lead, Data Governance you will assist in the implementation and operationalization of data quality strategy and support cataloging and curation, and overall data governance execution.· Support the development of data quality standards for reference, transactional and derived data domains· Collaborate with IT to model data and align data flow between systems in accordance with enterprise-wide architecture standards and processes· Collaborate with the business to put in place data governance workflows and processes to maintain data quality· Collaborate with business and cross-functional project leads to determine requirements for mapping legacy data to go forward standards· Document and manage definitions of reference and/or master data hierarchies and groupings and their use cases· Assist in identifying and resolving gaps in data quality and governance with emphasis on root-cause analysis, people, and process.· Responsible for reporting on the quality, accuracy and completeness of enterprise data via standard data sources· Execute key activities driven by data governance, integration, quality, and master data management initiatives· Coordinate with data domain owners and stewards to gather requirements and execute on configuration and development of reporting solutions to meet enterprise needs

• We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:· Solid working experience surrounding and supporting functions ( Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality)· Self-driven with the ability to lead and collaborate across business units· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate insights to leadership and relevant stakeholders.· Intellectual curiosity with strong creative and imaginative prowess to generate ideas to solve business problems· Understanding of fundamental database and SQL concepts· End-to-end understanding of the data flow process (from ingestion to consumption layer)
