Reporting to the Dispensary Manager, the Dispensary Inventory Manager is responsible for managing policy and procedure, compliance, inventory, receiving orders, and all other operational objectives of Curaleaf MA store operations. This position is responsible for ensuring all employees of the dispensary are accountable to these same responsibilities. This position manages the inventory team to improve accuracy, training, and execution of operational initiatives. The Dispensary Inventory Manager is an expert in their field of inventory receiving, CCC compliance, and order fulfillment.


Develop ways to optimize inventory control procedures and management

Create new product and price points for cannabis products and paraphernalia products

Ensure proper management of pre-packaged inventory and inventory movement between the vault and dispensing stations.

Oversee and ensure nightly audits & 30-day audits are being conducted in conjunction with all departments

Organize regular meetings with suppliers to optimize discounts and achieve the best pricing in the market.

Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages

Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers

Record all sales and inventory transactions in accordance with state and local laws and regulations

Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory

Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory

Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus

Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships

Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met

Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.

Communicate, work closely, and successfully collaborate with other Managers to achieve the organization’s goals.

Partner with the Curaleaf Human Resources team in the following HR functions:

Interview, recruit, and hire to fill gaps in open positions in a timely manner based on store performance and volume.

Train leads and employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP’s, compliance audits, company and state policy, and procedures.

Develop and maintain a training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training is complete.

Ensure continuous training and development with team members through training curriculums that result in consistency across all stores.

Write and deliver team members’ performance reviews in partnership with DM to determine succession plans, build on member’s strengths and develop areas of improvement.

Manage the performance, coach, and discipline team members on performance and violation of company and compliance policies in partnership with DM and HR.

Maintain a highly organized and professional documentation of employee issues.

Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to team members that foster continuous learning and improvement in the performance of the store.

This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation.

Must be 21+ 

Ability to pass a national background check per state cannabis regulations 

2+ years inventory management experience

Working knowledge of METRC 

Working knowledge of CCC Regulations

Welcomes change and adjusts quickly to accommodate business needs

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports

An analytical mind with strong math skills

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction

Reliable and trustworthy

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Work Environment:

Allergen warnings - Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens. 

Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol.

All jobs require daily use of provided PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary. 

Ability to work in confined spaces, stand for long periods of time, and bend/lift up to 30lbs
